Stadium Dr. Rumblings: Nebraska's Staff In-Home Tonight With Safety Target Isaiah Simmons

The Huskers get their in-home tonight with one of the top targets left on their board.

It's time for the final push for targets, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are battling hard for Olahte, Kansas Safety target Isaiah Simmons.

Simmons is set to visit Clemson this weekend, so this is a make or break time for the Nebraska coaching staff to get into the house and make their push as why he should be a Husker.

The fact that Nebraska has been there this whole time while Clemson didn't offer Simmons until two weeks ago should help. However, Clemson was 8 minutes from a National Championship this year, and is a program not in SEC land that is on the rise.

Simmons' Grandmother does live in Omaha, so there is a proximity advantage there as well.

Can the Huskers hold on here? Simmons has played it well to the vest. With Lamar Jackson in the fold as well, it would be a fantastic haul.

Speaking of visits, Head Coach Mike Riley (who already used his in-home with Simmons) hit The Big Easy tonight.

Riley is probably visiting Pernell Jefferson, who committed to Nebraska this weekend but does have a visit listed to Indiana coming this coming weekend.
