Flakes: MOAR Basketball, Husker Awards, Insurance and Dreams

Tonight Nebrasketball takes on Michigan State and the Husker women take on Purdue. We also look at a candidate for the football playoff committee and insurance policies for college athletes. Do not fall asleep! Who knows what might appear in your dreams....

Tonight we get to feast on squeakyfloor bouncyhoops! Both Husker teams face some good squads tonight. Patrick and I will have a combined thread for the games (probably published at 5:00 or 5:15). Join us for some good conversation and to cheer on our Huskers!

The Husker men travel to East Lansing to take on Michigan State at 5:30 p.m. The Spartans are ranked #10 in the coaches poll and #11 in the AP. MSU is always tough on their own floor and Nebrasketball desperately needs a "good" win to keep any postseason hopes alive. It seems like a tall hill for a young team to climb, but Nebraska has performed well against the Spartans recently and MSU is on a two game losing streak. The game will be televised on BTN and audio streamed (free) at huskers.com. Huskers Head To Michigan State

The Husker women face Purdue at 6:00 p.m. in West Lafayette. This has been one of the most exciting series for the Huskers since joining the Big Ten with three of the seven matchups going to overtime. Purdue is currently tied with Maryland and Ohio State atop the Big Ten standings (7-1 in the conference). The Boilermakers sit atop all teams "receiving votes" in the AP poll - which puts them at #26 in the standings. The game will be televised on BTN plus (a streaming service available for a fee outside of your cable package) with audio streamed (free) at huskers.com. WBB: Huskers Look to Knock Off Boilermakers
