Nebraska Adds 2020 Non-Conference Game With Central Michigan

The Huskers will host the MAC members in Lincoln.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers announced Wednesday morning that they added a game with the Central Michigan Chippewas for the 2020 Football season. CMU is scheduled to play Nebraska on Saturday, September 19th, 2020.

The Huskers and Chippewas have never met before on the Football field. This is the second game scheduled on the Huskers non-conference slate, with Nebraska taking on Cincinnati the week before.

Nebraska needs to book one more non-conference opponent for the '20 slate, as the Big Ten Conference will be going to 9 game slates and the Huskers only have room for 3 non-B1G opponents beginning next year in the '16 season.

Central Michigan appeared in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl last season, where they completed a crazy Hail Mary at the end of the game versus Western Kentucky.

Former CMU Head Coach Dan Enos then tried to go for 2 to win the game. It didn't work out well at all.
