Stadium Dr. Rumblings: Noah Fant To Make Decision Friday, Top WR Target Places Nebraska In Final 6

An in-state decision comes soon for Nebraska, and a few top lists come with the Huskers name on them.

- The Nebraska Cornhuskers are going to find out real soon if Omaha South TE/DE Noah Fant wants to play for them, or another team like Iowa or Cal.

Fant, who the Huskers have been in on since early on in his recruiting process, will make his decision live with Gary Sharp & Damon Benning on 1620 tomorrow morning, with word of it being sometime in the 8am local hour.

Word on the street is that Nebraska has cooled off on Fant, with the notion that he'd rather play Tight End while Nebraska sees him as a Defensive End down the road. Iowa, Cal, and other schools see him as a TE.

I would think that it has to be between Nebraska and Iowa for his services. I'm not even saying that Nebraska is the lock here, but at the same time, it seems to be the safest choice than figuring out what school he's going to choose.

- Nebraska has thrown out an offer to Stephen Sullivan, a 6' 5" Wideout from Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

- The Huskers do make the final 6 for top WR target Clyde Leflore-Chriss out of NOLA.

- Noted big-time Offensive Lineman target Matt Farniok, who the Huskers have gotten to visit multiple times, has DROPPED to a 3 star on Rivals from a 4, where he's listed on 247. I would love to know the reasoning on that, although I am pretty sure it's codependent on where Farniok camped this past summer.

It could very well be where he had a brutal first day at the Rivals 5 Star Challenge, however there's no reason that a kid who has been offered by every high-end P5 school should be dropping.
