New, 8 comments

Nebraska basketball improved to 3-0 on their Spanish summer basketball tour with a 108-73 victory over the Europe Basketball Academy in Barcelona. The Huskers were led by freshman Jack McVeigh's 18 points, one of seven Huskers in double figures.

Sophomore Jake Hammond scored 12 points while Shavon Shields, Andrew White III and Glynn Watson III each scored 11. Midway through the second quarter, the Europe Basketball Academy pulled within two points of the #losHuskers at 42-40 before Nebraska pulled away to a 12 point halftime lead.  The third quarter was all Huskers as NU outscored EBA 29-14.

The Huskers will spend most of Saturday touring Barcelona before a 1 pm central time game against CB Castelldefels.

On Thursday, the Huskers celebrated Tim Miles birthday in style.

Sunday will be a travel day as the Huskers will be returning home...just in time to start class on Monday. (Jet lag? What jet lag?)
