Just because Fall Camp is right around the corner for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, there's no reason that the recruiting cycle has to take a break.
- The Huskers had a couple big time unofficial visitors to Lincoln this weekend, with the aim to get these kids further on campus for an OV later on in the year.

The first visitor you see is Running Back Mulbah Car out of Austin (Tx) Reagan High School. The Huskers offered Car back in April, and he was in town for the weekend after taking in Iowa State earlier in the week. Car is the 75th best RB in the '16 cycle and the 133rd best player in the state of Texas. For comparison's sake, Husker RB verbal Aphonso Thomas is the 61st best RB in the '16 cycle and the 116th best player in the state of Texas. Both rankings are off the 247 Composite scales.
- The other visitor in Lincoln is a guy that WR coach Keith Williams has been working on.

The hype is over Maryland 4 star Wide Reciever Steven Smothers, who came to Lincoln on an unofficial as well.

- August 1st means that we've officially reached the day where all offers can be mailed out to prospective student-athletes. That's normally when you'll start figuring out who really has a lot, little, or no true piles of offers.
