The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been staying steady on the grind during Fall Camp in recruiting, and it's been paying off in both commitments and the door they are opening for Official Visits.
- After the commitment of JD Spielman on Saturday, Nebraska is looking to add up to 3 more WR's to compliment the 2016 recruiting cycle. One guy they have aimed for is Fresno, California's Darian Owens, who is committed to UCLA but will take OV's to both Oklahoma and Nebraska. The Huskers offered Owens back on May 5th.

The kicker here is that Owens has an interest in Nebraska due to playing with Keyan Williams, the Fresno State WR who is the son of current Nebraska WR Keith Williams. Expect the Huskers to get a look here and a good shot to flip the Bruin verbal, as Owens wants to make Nebraska his first OV.
- Nebraska and Wisconsin are in the final 2 for Maryland Safety Eric Burrell. He's mentioned that he may have a final list, but no matter what, the Badgers and Huskers are on the top of that list. Burrell is set to visit for the South Alabama game on September 12th.
- Nebraska could very well be starting to plan a potential flip by Oklahoma QB verbal Terry Wilson to Oregon. I'm still in the camp that thinks Wilson will stay a Husker due to distance proximity, but if that changes, the Huskers are moving forward on plans.
If you're looking for proof, Nebraska just recently offered Dual Threat QB Xavier Gaines out of Lake Worth, Florida. This story by Scout has Gaines visiting Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida, and a potential to Nebraska.
It could be a reach to get Gaines out of Florida. Then again, most thought it would be a reach getting Patrick O'Brien out of California as well. The Huskers really like Terry Wilson, but are preparing just in case.
- The visitor list for Wisconsin is big for the 2017 cycle as well, as Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and Darnay Holmes, the Calabasas duo will be in town for the game.
