Corn Flakes: Nebraska Football So Close.... Not Really

Does any other school have this many media members commenting on social media after fall practices?

Once again, that one guy no one has ever seen play college football will be the greatest player in the history of the program.

If players aren't mentioned by media members as having as least one good practice, do they have to go to counseling?

Player X is "turning heads", "stepping up", or making the "big jump" this season, it's only a matter of time before he's Big Ten All Conference, winning the Heisman trophy, or becoming Nebraska's next Outland Trophy winner.

Nobody really knows the names of the guys who play offensive line. They pretend like they do, but they don't.

After being in Nebraska for several months, Mike Riley has had to be infected with the need to run the ball 80% of the time. It's in the water.

You're growing increasingly paranoid about that one friend of yours who isn't as excited as you are about the upcoming season.

Sorry for the cynicism (not really). Football season still seems like a lifetime away (23 days?). It's seems like those last few miles of a long trip. You just want to get there and are tired of hearing mostly the same crap you've been hearing for way too long.
