The Big Ten Conference, as they normally do right before their Media Days kick off, released their annual Players to Watch list on Thursday morning.
Normally, the media votes on this list and the top 5 of each Division is named. However, due to a tie, there were 6 players placed on the Big Ten West Division list.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are one of three teams with two players on the list. They are:
Maliek Collins - Last season, the Husker Defensive Tackle had 4.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss. The Junior was a second-team all B1G pick last year, and was picked the co-Defensive MVP by his peers.
De'Mornay Pierson-El - The Sophomore burst on the scene last year with his Punt Return prowess, averaging second nationally in PR return average. DPE was a second-team All-American selection by the Football Writers Association of America, and made the Freshman All-American team with a lot of organizations.
