While it's not unexpected, the Nebraska Cornhuskers got a fast, fast player on Thursday afternoon.

DiCaprio Bootle, a Cornerback from Miami Southridge HS in Florida, committed to the Huskers today. Bootle is currently visiting the staff in Lincoln and liked what he saw.

Bootle, who is 5 foot, 11 inches and 175 pounds, is unranked in the 247 composite system. He had offers from Florida International, Temple, Central Florida and Middle Tennessee State.

Bootle got his offer back on June 22nd, when he worked out for the staff as they were in Miami for a Sattelite Camp. At the camp, he reportedly ran a 4.34 and 4.44 40 yard dash. Also, he ran a 21.3 200 yard dash in his state meet as a Junior in May.

This could definitely be considered a fairly decent reach by the staff. However, it's not the worst type of reach they could make. Bootle can flat out fly, and that is going to carry with him as he is in Lincoln. Getting him better in technique and such is easier than teaching him how to be quicker.

This makes it 13 commits for Nebraska. The Huskers stay steady in both the National and Big Ten rankings at 24th and 5th respectfully.

Will there be more commits today? It could happen! Keep it tuned here at CN for the info when it breaks.
