Stadium Dr. Rumblings: Nebraska Set To Flip A Miami (FL) Linebacker Commitment?

A visitor from Big Red Weekend has decommitted from his former school.

David McGee

According to his twitter, former Miami Hurricanes Linebacker commit Greg Simmons is no longer a Canes verbal.

This could be a numbers matchup, as Simmons was thought of by the Canes folks as the fifth commitment of Miami that happens to be a LB, however at the same time, the thought of losing a guy who said it was a "life long dream" to be a Cane to Nebraska, NEBRASKA OF ALL PLACES!

Granted, it could be a few days before Simmons verbals to Nebraska, if he does at all. But, it's the pull of the Friday Night Lights type of atmosphere and such that Mike Riley and staff have brought that made this possible.

- Another probably imminent commitment for Nebraska would be Offensive Guard Boe Wilson of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Word on the street is that Wilson was ready to pull the trigger on Saturday, but went home to make sure the emotion and such were out and it was the right decision for him and his family.

Louisville was the leader for Wilson. That is definitely not the case anymore.

- The Huskers make a final for 4 star Offensive Guard Michael Eletise out of Hawaii.
