- It looks like a early '16 Nebraska verbal took in Lincoln earlier this week.
Ain't no better feeling then being in Nebraska's football stadium...it's so loud it's freaking awsome, can't wait

Nebraska Cornhuskers OL verbal Bryan Brokop went to Lincoln on Thursday to check out things. Looks like he ate well.
- Meanwhile, Huskers OL target Matt Farniok reportedly visited with his brother Will on Thursday as well, although few folks seem to be talking about it out in the open. If true, that would be several times that Farniok has visited Lincoln. That alone makes you think that the Huskers are beyond the leaders for his services.
Meanwhile, Farniok did get another pretty good accolade this week.
Excited to say I have been invited and will play in the U.S. Army All-American bowl! pic.twitter.com/OIwGs9YKjd

- Several big time players did the whole "trim the list to X schools" thing this week. Basically, it's who they will visit come Official Visit time. Nebraska, as you could imagine, made the cut with the folks that I'll be listing.

We've talked about Loganville, Georgia Defensive End Mykelle McDaniel before, but it's interesting to note that Nebraska is one of only 2 schools not in the South that he'll be probably visiting. Nebraska has survived both of his cuts, so it's a good sign there's real interest there.

Reistertown, Maryland Wide Receiver Steven Smothers puts the Huskers in his top 6 as well yesterday. This will be interesting to see Keith Williams going head to head against Ohio State and Penn State in this one. West Virginia does have the lead here, but if Dana Holgorson gets some heat, could Nebraska step in here?

Clemson is the favorite for Greensboro, North Carolina Wide Receiver Diondry Overton. Again, Keith Williams is on the trail here, and one would think that since Nebraska is in the top 5 here, they get a visit as well. You can't win if you don't play along though.
