After a seven game road trip, the Nebraska Baseball team returns home for their final home stand of the season. Nebraska can move into seventh place in the conference with a series win this weekend. Chance Sinclair will get his final home start of his career as he goes for his seventh win of the season.
The Huskers will look to get back on the diamond after taking a series against Northwestern last weekend. Nebraska will need a sweep to keep in the discussion for the NCAA Tournament.
Nebraska appeared to find the bats against Northwestern in the final game last weekend, and will look to take advantage of a shaky Purdue pitching staff. Alex Lyons will get the start for the Boilermakers. Lyons has struggled this season, giving up 41 hits in just 30.2 innings.
Nebraska will once again load up the lineup with left handed hitters. The only difference is that Luis Alvarado will get the start against the righty Lyons.
