Well, it's been a while since the Nebraska Cornhuskers had a verbal commitment, but the signal went out earlier this afternoon.

The Huskers got a verbal today from Arizona Western CC Linebacker William Johnson. Johnson, who originally hails from Coral Springs HS in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Johnson got his Nebraska offer on Saturday and took advantage of it immediately. He also sports offers from Washington State, Florida Atlantic, and South Alabama.
In his only season for Arizona Western, he had 50 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
While Johnson isn't got a big offer sheet, the fact is that Nebraska could use another guy in
what appears to be a 4 to play 3 type of scenario (Edit: has two years). He shows on the tape the ability to come off the edge, and that is something that Nebraska doesn't seem to have right now, much less the speed to get someone out of the backfield.
Furthermore, if you don't think Arizona Western has helped Nebraska at all, Randy Gregory waves hi.
With this verbal, Nebraska currently has 4 commitments to their '16 class. Hopefully, it kicks off a roll where Nebraska improves off being the 46th best school in FBS and 7th in the Big Ten Conference.
