Gallery: Nebraska Baseball vs. Purdue

On this Mother's Day, take some time to reminisce back to a fond time we call Saturday. We've got pictures from the Huskers 9-6 win over the Purdue Boilermakers. The Huskers are playing this afternoon as well, looking for the series win and continue with one last push to the NCAA Tournament.

The Huskers have struggled to maintain any sort of momentum in a challenging Big Ten Conference this season and this series vs. Purdue is pivotal to their chances. Saturday, the Huskers offense led the way, collecting 13 hits highlighted by a 2 run home run from Austin Darby in the fifth inning. Sophomore Ryan Boldt also went 3-5, his 23rd multi-hit game of the season. Josh Roeder also picked up his 15th save of the season to wrap up the Huskers ninth conference victory. If the Huskers are able to win today, they will move back to .500 in conference play with the opportunity to move above .500 before heading to Illinois next weekend to wrap up conference play.
