Nebraska Baseball vs Northwestern, Friday Gamethread

Nebraska looks to build momentum coming off a comeback victory against Creighton

Coming off one of the most difficult wins of the season, the Nebraska Baseball team will look to keep the momentum against the Northwestern Wildcats. Nebraska will look to sweep the Wildcats, while the Wildcats will look to spring the upset as they did last year in Lincoln. Brandon Magallones will look to keep the Huskers bats at bay while Nebraska will counter with Chance Sinclair.

Nebraska has not had much success against Magallones, in two previous appearances he has given up 6 runs in 16 innings pitched. Chance Sinclair has just one appearance against the Wildcats, allowing 2 runs in 7 innings, receiving a no decision.

Nebraska will once again load up the batting order with seven left handed hitters. Tanner Lubach and Wes Edrington make up the only two right handers in the lineup for Darin Erstad. Lubach is back in the lineup after passing concussion tests.
