Nebraska Baseball vs Kansas State:

Nebraska looks to get back on the winning track

After an uncharacteristic weekend of errors, the Nebraska Baseball team will look to get back to their winning ways as they head to Manhattan, Kansas to take on the Kansas State Wildcats in a midweek game. Nebraska will send Garett King to the hill, while KSU will send Kyle Halbohn to the mound.

Nebraska will need King to repeat his performance from last week when he turned in eight innings of one run ball. Nebraska will also need to get back to defensive fundamentals as they had four errors on the weekend, but all four proved costly against Maryland.

Kansas State sits at just 2-7 in Big 12 play as they have struggled with the bats. Kansas State has a team batting average of just .251 and has only 4 home runs. Look for King to attack with his curve and his fastball.

Nebraska will need to also bring their bats, as they struggled getting hits with runners on base this past weekend. Nebraska was unable to cash in with runners in scoring position, something that they will need to change if they hope to get a quality road win.
