- The Nebraska Cornhuskers hosted one of the most coveted Quarterbacks right now in the 2017 recruiting cycle when Chesapeake, Virginia QB Shon Mitchell arrived in Lincoln yesterday for an unofficial. The staff did some work on social media for the Mitchell visit.

Mitchell is not unfamiliar with the school as not only was he born in Omaha, but his father & uncle were standouts in the Omaha HS scene. He reportedly saw practice, and was impressed with what he saw from Mike Riley & OC Danny Langsdorf. Mitchell is the #2 Dual Threat QB in the country and the 34th best player in the entire cycle currently.
- The visitors for Nebraska's Spring Game on Saturday are starting to accumulate. We'll have a more comprehensive list here later in the week, but one guy to take a peek at would be JUCO Cornerback Maurice Chandler, who got a Nebraska offer back in March.
- It sounds like Chandler's teammate, ILB Chris Baccus, will be making the trip as well. Nebraska loves this man. How much?

- The Huskers also offered a pretty decent Tight End target in Daniel Dalton from Marshfield, Mass.
Humbled to receive an offer from the University of Nebraska tonight. #huskers
