Big Red Cobcast: That Time Of The Year

Joe and Ryan attempt to fill the emptiness in your heart where Husker stuff goes.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

I hate this time of year.

April 20th - Hitler's Birthday, Columbine Massacre, Stoners falling over each other to get to the nearest Baskin Robbins.

May 4th - My birthday. After 30, they aren't fun anymore.

Every Other Day Until Fall - Waiting for Husker football season.

Saturdays are the worst.

Full Disclosure: I don't have a 9-5, so it may be different than that for some people. Weekends are really boring to me. The fall gives my weekends purpose, it gives me a reason to live. The rest of the year I'm just really, really depressed. Imagine for a second that Brady Hoke walked into a subway sandwich shoppe AND THERE WAS NO SANDWICHES!!! Or Harbaugh had no one to talk down to or Urban Meyer had no players to pay. That's how I feel right now.

The Cobcast makes me feel better. Briefly.
