Nebraska Football Lands Michigan State On ESPN/ABC Primetime

The Huskers make it 2 known night kickoffs, with one being a November tilt.

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have released their second prime-time game scheduled for the 2015 season.

The Huskers home tilt vs. the Michigan State Spartans will be one of two Big Ten Conference games that ESPN and ABC will put in a primetime slot, with the other one being the Minnesota Gophers heading to Columbus to face the defending National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes.

The game is scheduled for either a 6pm or 7pm Central time kickoff, depending on what channel (either ESPN or ABC) gets the game. ESPN would probably be the earlier kickoff.

This marks the second consecutive season that Nebraska/Michigan State gets an evening kickoff, as last year the Huskers fell short to Sparty in East Lansing by a 27-22 score.

It was announced last week that the Nebraska vs. South Alabama game in the second week of the season will be a prime-time kickoff on the Big Ten Network, however, that time has not been announced yet.

No word on potential times for the opening game of the season vs. BYU, nor the road trip to take on the Miami Hurricanes.
