Nebraska Baseball Takes on Kansas State

Nebraska looks to bounce back after an ugly weekend series against the Buckeyes

After a pair of extra inning defeats, the Nebraska Baseball team gets back on the diamond Tuesday night as they take on the Kansas State Wildcats. This is the second of two meetings between the two teams this season. Nebraska took the first meeting, a 5-4 win in 10 innings in Manhattan two weeks ago.

Garett King is scheduled to start for the Huskers. King may be on a pitch count as he pitched in Sunday's extra inning defeat. King did threw less than 20 pitches, but still may be limited on one day rest. King threw 5.2 innings against the Wildcats in the win two weeks ago, giving up two runs.

Kansas State has not named a starter for the contest. Expect to see a large number of pitches for Kansas State as the midweek spot has been a revolving door for the Wildcats all season.
