Stadium Dr. Rumblings: Are The Huskers Close To Getting Their Quarterback?

As we check in on what's going down in recruiting, let's take a look at one position Nebraska didn't even sign last cycle.

Student Sports

- The Nebraska Cornhuskers seem to be targeting two main Quarterbacks right now to start off their '16 recruiting cycle needs. QB coach/OC Danny Langsdorf went to go see a couple of them throw, and have thrown out an offer.

First off, Langsdorf went down to see Terry Wilson down in Oklahoma City. Wilson, who is a Dual-Threat QB out of Del City HS. He was also the first one to get an offer this morning.

After going to visit Wilson, Langsdorf went to California to see Patrick O'Brien, who is a taller, Pro-Style Quarterback out of San Juan Capistrano HS.

Now, to be completely honest, it seems like while both players have interest from Nebraska, right now only Wilson has an offer. O'Brien was only ranked by 247 the day after Langsdorf went to go see him, and interests from other schools are just now starting to arrive.

It seems like Nebraska is willing to take 2 QB's in this class, and Wilson could be the very first one of the two to commit.

- Georgia DE Mykelle McDaniel has named his top five. The Huskers are happy with it.

- Looks like Nebraska has offered Dymond Lee, a 4 star WR out of Chaminade HS in West Hills, California.

- The Huskers have gone out after some Defensive Back offers. First up, Safety Eric Burrell out of Maryland.

.. and Maryland Cornerback (and Va. Tech verbal) Kareem Felder.....

. as well as Frisco, Texas Cornerback Chris Miller.

- Two more Defensive offers are out. First off, stud McKinney, Tx DE Justin Madubuike...

.. and, finally, Linebacker Mique Juarez out of Torrance, California.
