Nebraska baseball dropped to 7th in the Big Ten after losing their series against Ohio State.
The series was damned good. All three games were closely contested, the second and third going to extra innings, but the Huskers could not get enough offense going against the Buckeyes to win those last two.

Steven M. Sipple: NU athletics encounter rugged Big Ten terrain : Latest Husker News
The Nebraska athletic program needs to step up its game a bit. The 2014-15 academic year appears destined to go down as a relatively disappointing one in terms of Husker athletics. With a handful of key sports still in-season (baseball, softball, track and field), Nebraska ranks 10th among 14 Big Ten schools in terms of average conference finish. NU's 6.92 finish is just ahead of No. 11 Northwestern.
