We've moved into the offseason, and things are going to be quiet for a while, so if you happen to see news of interest or topics for discussion, send me an email to cornnation@gmail.com.
It's the time of year where we really start to look for content to keep you all interest. In some ways we might have it a little better than the regular media because we can just make things up and make you laugh (hopefully). I would look for more of that this offseason, and non-sports articles might appear here and there.
HuskerOnline.com - Newby pushing to be NU's next feature back
At 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, it's easy to pigeon hole the junior in the category of a "scat back", a player too small to hold his own between the tackles that can only best be used with the ball out in space. But the former four-star prospect from Los Angeles knows he's much more than just a specialty weapon, and Saturday's performance in Nebraska's annual Red-White Spring Game may have been one of his best cases for that yet.
I thought Newby looked very good in the chances that he got. Ameer Adbullah made a pretty decent-sized leap between his junior and senior seasons, and it's okay to expect that Newby will get better as well. We have a pretty decent stable of running backs.

Darlington took father's words to heart before spring push : Latest Husker News
"Originally, I was not getting many reps when I started out," said Darlington, bursting with energy. "It’s one of those things where you can kind of pout and say, ‘Oh, that sucks,’ or you can step your game up. When you get two plays, those better be the best two plays of the entire team. Once I realized that I was starting to get the hang of things, I just thought, ‘Dude, just play ball, man.’"
