The NTCA top-ranked Nebraska Women's bowling team will compete for its fifth NCAA title Saturday night, as the Huskers defeated Sam Houston State 4-2 in the semifinal round Saturday morning. The Huskers, who were the No. 2 seeded team after the qualify rounds will take on Stephen F. Austin in the final.
Saturday nights NCAA National Championship match will be nationally televised on ESPNU at 7:00 pm.
While the Women will try and bring home the national title, the Huskers Baseball team will look to find the bats, as they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Nebraska fell to the Gophers 3-0 Friday night as they could not solve the Minnesota pitching.
Nebraska will look to solve the revolving door at left field, as Christian Cox gets the start over both Luis Alvarado and Elijay Dilday. Kyle Kubat gets the start for Nebraska, while Minnesota has yet to name a starter.
