Nebraska Baseball vs Minnesota: Gamethread

The Huskers look to take advantage of a struggling Minnesota team.

The Nebraska Baseball team returns home after a four game road trip as they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a three game series beginning Friday night. Nebraska is coming off an extra inning win Tuesday night at Kansas State while Minnesota beat division two Carelton Wednesday night.

Nebraska will send Chance Sinclair to the hill, as he looks to recover from a rough outing against Maryland. Sinclair had been on a roll and is undefeated at home on the season. Minnesota will send Ben Meyer to the mound. Meyer has an earned run average of 5.62 and has allowed 18 extra base hits, including 6 home runs on the year. Look for the Huskers to try and get to Minnesota pitching which has an earned run average of 6.25 (yikes).

Darin Erstad will roll out a familiar lineup as the Huskers look to climb above .500 in league play.
