Late Night with Nebrasketball

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Nebraska Men's basketball heads on the road to try and end a six game losing streak and complete the season sweep of the Illinois Fighting Illini. The Huskers defeated Illinois in January 11 in Pinnacle Bank Arena 53-43. At the time, Illinois was without their best player, Rayvonte Rice who was out with a hand injury. He has since returned and Illinois is on the bubble, fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth at 18-11 and 8-8 in the conference.

The Huskers are clinging to slim post season hopes and would likely need to win their final two regular season games and probably at least two in the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago next week. It is unlikely that happens given their play the past couple of weeks.
