But in 2015, the Big Red Breakfast likely won't be around. "I would love in many ways to continue it, but it does not seem like it on March 30," said Gary Sadlemyer, former Husker football commentator and current program director at KFAB, the Omaha radio station that took over the event two years ago to keep the tradition going.

Being the out of state guy these things don't affect me all that much. Having attended few of these types of events (and generally being antisocial anyway), I don't really care about this tradition going away. I have to admit, I always wondered why anyone would expect Husker football coaches to take time during football season to go speak at their clubs and/or events.

There's enough pressure, there's enough of a fish bowl, and there's only so many coaches to go around.
