It wasn't the ending Husker seniors Tear'a Laudermill, Emily Cady, Hailie Sample and Brandi Jeffery were hoping for. The most successful senior class by almost every measure, played their final home games in their Nebraska basketball careers. Unfortunately, star Buckeye freshman Kelsey Mitchell had a big night pouring in 28 points and grabbing 10 rebounds leading OSU to a big 78-60 win.

Cady and Jeffery went out with a bang, though as both collected double-doubles to cap their home careers. Cady led the way with 23 and 11, with Jeffery adding 10 and 13 to go along with four assists.

The Huskers finish the Big Ten schedule with a 10-8 record and in seventh place in the conference standings. The Huskers will take on Illinois in the first game of the conference tournament Thursday before finding out their NCAA Tournament fate.
