Three Cornhuskers Headed to NFL Combine

As expected, Kenny Bell, Ameer Abdullah, and Randy Gregory are headed to the 2015 NFL Combine to test out in front of league scouts.

Congratulations, Mr. Bell!
Congratulations, Mr. Bell!

The National Football League has announced the three hundred-plus invitees to this year's NFL Combine, where eligible players will run between orange plastic cones, jump really high, lift weights, and get weighed out on national television, all in the hopes of becoming America's next great solo recording artist with a major record label NFL star. Every college football coach hopes this day will come, when their young charges will become a statistic on a future recruiting poster. ("Look at all the Jimmys and Joes we sent to the NFL! Don't worry about championships!")

In all seriousness, this is the dream of many college players and for three former Nebraska players, this dream is the verge of becoming a reality. As we've all come to expect, RB Ameer Abdullah, WR Kenny Bell, and DE Randy Gregory have received invitations to work out at this year's Combine.

Former Cornhusker Braylon Heard (Kentucky) was also invited to the Combine.
