After winning three of four against Brigham Young, the Huskers will look to keep the momentum rolling, as they return out west to take on the Loyola Marymount Lions. The Huskers got the bats going in the series finale last Saturday as they scored a season best nine runs.
The Lions will present a challenge, as they feature a strong rotation, as brothers Trevor and Tylor Megill are two key arms to watch. The Huskers will also face buzzsaw Colin Welmon who has 16 strikeouts in 16 innings along with his undefeated record.
Look for Ryan Boldt to get on base often, as he was 10-16 last weekend, and looks to be on his way to a breakout year. If the Huskers can find two wins against the Lions, they will have done very well.
