Big Red Cobcast: The Greg Sharpe interview!

There have been many voices in my lifetime that have said many great things.

JFk - "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country"

Hulk Hogan - "Whatcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan, his Hulkamaniacs and his 24" pythons run wild on you?"

Kanye West - "Ima let you finish but Beyonce made the greatest music video of all time"

None of these and I repeat NONE OF THESE are as important to my life as the one and only Greg Sharpe. From the Henery kick to the Westerkatch and every Suh play in between, Greg Sharpe's voice has been the soundtrack to my adult life.

When my first child is born, I want Greg Sharpe to be there announcing it to the world, when I retire I want Greg Sharpe to call my friends and tell them and when I die I want Greg Sharpe to read my eulogy. Let's face it even though I'm younger than him, I'll definitely die sooner. I'm a comedian with a drinking problem and HE'S THE VOICE OF THE HUSKERS.

Needless to say, we were very excited to sit down with Greg. He talked to us about his career, relationships with Husker players and coaches and the infamous Bo Pelini tape, in which he had a cameo.

We were also joined this week by Bob Wiltfong! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, right!?! I know, HOW DO WE DO IT? It's cool, we'll let you step into the other room for a moment to avoid getting brain chunks on the walls from having your minds blown from HOW AWESOME ALL THIS NEWS IS!
