Corn Flakes: What's With The Basketball Team?

The Nebraska men dropped to 10th in the Big Ten Conference in basketball with yesterday's loss to Purdue, tied with Minnesota at 5-8 in conference.

The women are 7th, with a 8-6 in conference record. It's easier to understand what's going on with the women - they've dealt with injuries and depth issues all season long.

The men - not so much.

They are flat out hard to watch, which is too bad because a year ago nearly this same group of guys was incredibly fun to watch. Their fan base is largely disappearing, and showing up at Pinnacle Bank doesn't count, really. Or does it?

I wanted to give up yesterday. I wanted to stop watching, flip on the Xbox and blow up some fake people, but then they got it back to seven before falling down. Kind of wanted to resent them for it, but I didn't.
