Gallery: Huskers take down Wisconsin

The Huskers were without their star point guard, Rachel Theriot for the fifth straight game, but the Huskers were able to still come away with the win as they took down the Wisconsin Badgers 70-63, behind 20 from Tear'a Laudermill and a career high 19 from freshman Natalie Romeo.

The Huskers got out to an early 13 point first half lead, only to see Wisconsin battle back and take the lead shortly before halftime. The Huskers scored the final five points of the half to take a 33-32 lead. After the Badgers got the lead back to start the second half, NU used a 13-0 run to take the lead for good. NU was supported by 8,622 fans, the biggest crowd of the season. NU snapped a three game losing streak and improved to 8-6 in conference play and sit at seventh place in the Big Ten. The Huskers next hit the court Wednesday evening when they heat to Evanston, IL to take on the Northwestern Wildcats.
