Nebraska Baseball Picked 2nd In Big Ten Conference Behind Maryland

The Huskers should be one of four B1G teams to make the NCAA Tournament.

In a poll of Big Ten Conference coaches, Nebraska Baseball was picked to finish second behind Maryland this year.

The Huskers, who finished 41-21 last year and saw their season end with two losses to Cal State Fullerton last year in the NCAA Tournament, return all B1G pitcher Chance Sinclair and Big Ten POY Ryan Boldt.

Maryland, who went to the Super Regionals last year for the first time in the program's history, finished 40-23 and lost to Virginia in the Round of 16 Supers. They return All-American Infielder Brandon Lowe and Freshman All-American Pitcher Mike Shawaryn. The Huskers and Terps meet in Maryland April 3-5th this season.

Each Big Ten Baseball Head Coach picked three players to watch for the season as well. The list is below.
