The final weekend of recruiting for Nebraska Football nets at least two verbals.

While you were in a snowy haze, the Nebraska Cornhuskers were doing work inside North Stadium with two verbal commitments.

First off, let us talk about Antonio Reed.

Antonio Reed is a Safety out of Southaven HS in Mississippi. He is a three star composite on the 247 Sports scale. He was a commit to Memphis, which seems to be his only FBS offer. He measures 6' 2", 210 pounds, with a 4.5 40 yard dash. He was listed as the 102nd best Safety in this cycle and the 39th best player in the state of Mississippi.

Alex Davis, who was committed to Georgia Southern until literally today, committed earlier to Nebraska. He is a 6' 5", 220 pound Defensive End from Dwyer HS in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He is the 56th best DE in this class and the 145 best player available in the state of Florida.

It seems like a lot of folks thought he would flip to Nebraska.

Davis was wanted by a lot of the lower tier players in the Florida race (USF, FAU, FIU) as well as a Temple and Pitt offer.
