The Huskers volleyball team advanced past Harvard in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Crimson, making thier first NCAA Tournament appearnce in school history came out of the gates swinging, playing with an energy and exuberance that the Huskers failed to match. Harvard took set 1 25-22. The Huskers responded in set 2, however, racing out to a 10-0 lead and never looking back. The Huskers won the second, third and fourth sets to take the match and advance to Saturday's second round match with Wichita State. The Shockers knocked of in-state foe Kansas State in the match prior to the Huskers matchup with Harvard.

The Huskers were led by Kadie Rolfzen who notched a double-double on the evening. NU had three others with double digit kills: Amber Rolfzen, Cecelia Hall and Mikaela Foecke.

The Huskers will look to advance to next weekends Sweet 16. They will take on the Wichita State Shockers at 7 PM and can be seen on NET.
