Stadium Dr. Rumblings: Matt Farniok Making His Official Visit To Nebraska This Weekend

The Huskers have their top target making another trip to Lincoln.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are hosting one visitor on Championship Weekend. And, yes, it's the one that has been at the top of the board for a while.

Without spilling the premium content too much, it's simple to see that the main target is South Dakota Tackle Matt Farniok, who will have the full attention of Nebraska HC Mike Riley this weekend.

Counting this weekend, this will be the SEVENTH time that Farniok has visited the Nebraska campus and met with coaches. Seven visits, to the same school. That is one of the main reasons he's favored in his 247 Crystal Ball to come to Nebraska.

Speaking of Farniok, he is one of two targets to win the Gatorade Player of the Year in his state. He joins TE target Tony Poljan in the award.

- Interesting turn on Texas WR Zach Farrar, who Keith Williams was to visit on Monday of this week, but it was postponed for some reason.

Farrar visited Oklahoma State for Bedlam last weekend, and will be seeing Lubbock this weekend. Nebraska still wants to get him in for a visit, but it's seemed to take a turn for the worse here.

- Todd McShane sending out some twitter love on Thursday afternoon to a Nebraska target? Sure, why not!

McShane is sending a word to Nebraska DE target Amir Watts, who is a Minnesota lean right now. However, with the coaching staff upheaval, Nebraska is taking a shot to get noticed.
