Good news about player availability for the Huskers in the Foster Farms Bowl against UCLA. After the final practice, Mike Riley announced that only Marcus Newby was out of the game.

There were rumors over the last week that some players were having grade issues, but there is good news on this front.
Riley said Marcus Newby is likely out with groin injury. No academic suspensions. "One close call." #Huskers

Newby is a loss, as he'd really progressed this season, but the good news is that with a month off, the rest of the linebacker corps should be in their best shape of the season. Will we see a 100% Michael Rose-Ivey against the Bruins? Nebraska might be in their best shape since October at linebacker.
