I have no idea what this team is or what they do well. They do a lot of things well at times, but they also don't. They fight to the end and give everything they have. Tonight that was enough.
Of course, it was not without controversy as Reilly's touchdown came after officials ruled he was forced out of bounds and that his touchdown was good. This was only the 3rd time in Nebraska school history where an unranked Husker team beat a top 10 opponent.
The Huskers were a well-balanced team tonight and ran far more than I expected given the reputation of the Spartan rush defense. Jordan Westerkamp and Alonzo Moore played with every ounce of effort they had. Others deserve credit as well, but those two played hurt and kept playing. That is what leaders do. Tip 'o the hat to you gentlemen.
Of course, our own Salt Creek had it called...
If I gambled, I'd drop dollars on Nebraska to upset Michigan State this weekend.
