Okay, everyone have fun last night?

What?

Yeah, both Nebraska football and basketball lost.

No, I am not happy either.

Anyway, the Men's basketball team needs you!

Nebraska men's basketball team wake up and play the 4-2 Tennessee Volunteers this morning in the Barclays Classic in Brooklyn, NY. The Vol's come into the game with a hard fought loss to George Washington losing 73-70. This is their second loss for the season after a close 67-69 battle against Georgia Tech.

Tennessee is predicted to finish at the bottom end of the SEC this year which is similar to Nebraska. This is coach Rick Barnes 1st year with the team so you can guess they are rebuilding and reshuffling the team to his specifications. They ended the 20154-15 season with a 16-16 record and 10th place in the SEC. Players to watch are Armani Moore, Detrick Mostella, and Kevin Punter.

Also like Nebraska they have a height disadvantage on the court with Kyle Alexander being their biggest guy at 6'9". Another note, this Volunteer team likes to score and has been averaging 83.4 ppg so far this season. If Nebraska can stay out of foul trouble and play the salty defense they are known to have then this should be a good game between two squads looking for as many wins a possible during the non conference schedule.

Game Time: 11:00am

Brew of the game: It's the morning so if you are so inclined to start tailgating early I suggest the Surly Coffee Bender.
