Let's take a quick look at what we've got coming up this weekend:
- Clemson vs Syracuse
Clemson should win this by double digits, but they haven't Clempsoned yet and now would be the time.
- Alabama vs Mississippi State
Letdown after big win over LSU? Doubtful. Saban will be pumping extra souls into hell to keep that contract going strong this week and his team from letting down.
- Ohio State vs Illinois
Illinois fired their athletic director this week because timing doesn't matter, football players and coaches don't notice those kinds of things, they're just worker minions. Ohio State could get caught looking ahead, but, doubtful because Meyer will be pumping extra souls....
- Notre Dame vs Wake Forest
Nothing to see here. Really.
- Iowa vs Minnesota
Rivalry game, playing for Floyd of Rosedale, but it's at night in Kinnick.
- Baylor vs Oklahoma
I'd be okay if Oklahoma knocked off Baylor so we wouldn't have to listen to Art Briles whine again this year when his team gets left out of the playoffs. The line on this game is fairly close
- Oklahoma State vs Iowa State
No real danger from the Cyclones.
In Summary....
It'd be nice if someone beat Alabama. It's a mantra shared by most of the nation. It's that time of year when the unexpected happens every weekend, though, just when you think everything is lined up.

Rutgers
How many of you are going to the Rutgers game? Sound off in the comments.
I still haven't settled into the concept of Nebraska playing Rutgers in a conference game, but maybe it will grow on me. I would like to get there sometime, as I have never been to New Jersey. Maryland, yes, Jersey, no. Is it really much different, though?
Can we really win two games in a row?
