After a disappointing last weekend, the Huskers rebounded to sweep Rutgers and Maryland in dominating fashion. Nebraska, Saturday, routed the Terrapins 25-11, 25-13 and 25-12. Kadie Rolfzen led the way for NU with 10 kills. NU dominated in every phase of the game, outhitting the Terps .412 to -.033. They also out-dug UMD 42-28. It was just a complete victory.
After completing the sweep this weekend, NU will hit the road for a four game road trip beginning in West Lafayette, IN to take on the Purdue Boilermakers for their only meeting of the year. The Huskers, after their sweep, sit one spot ahead of Purdue in the standings. Purdue heads to Minneapolis Sunday to take on first place Minnesota.
