If you honestly thought that it couldn't get worse with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and their injury situation, you were wrong.
Some uncertainty hanging around #Husker QB situation. Armstrong didn't practice again.

Tommy Armstrong still in a walking boot today and Ryker Fyfe working with 1 offense. #Huskers

Tommy Armstrong Jr, who has been subject to a lot of criticism for his play, has missed his second straight practice with a right ankle injury. Ryker Fyfe, the Junior former walk-on Quarterback from the Grand Island area, took snaps with the 1's today (and presumably yesterday).
If Armstrong, with his 2,052 passing yards and 16 TD's to 7 Interceptions can not go on Saturday vs. the Purdue Boilermakers, Fyfe will be called on to make his first career start.
Fyfe has seen action as Armstrong has been injured, playing in games vs. Michigan State and Iowa last season. This season, Fyfe has only seen the field once vs. South Alabama, going 5 for 7 for 33 yards with one TD and Interception each.
Unless things get better with Armstrong and soon, this is your starter.
You're looking at #Huskers No. 1 QB... Today. Armstrong out w "foot injury" from NW. Day to day. Fyfe ran same plays pic.twitter.com/c17iA6TV3f
