The Huskers play what is (hopefully) their final FCS opponent ever. The McNeese State Cowboys are a very good FCS team, currently ranked #6. This will be a hungry, talented, and well-coached team looking for an upset ala NDSU.  For more on the matchup, check out Husker Mike's review.

Series Record: Nebraska won the only previous meeting with McNeese State, posting a 38-14 victory over the Cowboys in 2002 at Memorial Stadium. Nebraska quarterback Jammal Lord set then-Nebraska records for total offense (369 yards) and rushing yards by a quarterback (218 yards) in the victory.
