New, 4 comments

Taking advantage of a later kick and a (semi) nationally televised game, Nebraska's staff has quite the list of OV's set up for the game vs. the Hurricanes.

We all know about the upcoming game with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday. But what you may not know is that there's a very good list of Official Visitors heading up for the game as well.

The Huskers, who have just a few spots left in their 2015 recruiting class, will be hosting several men that could pull the trigger and commit on the spot. Here's who we have scheduled showing up. As a reminder, this is a fluid list, and that does mean that a couple kids may not make it.

2015 Official Vistors Not Committed To Nebraska:

Andre Smith: Smith is an inside Linebacker that has already committed to North Carolina. However, this is his first OV that he's taking anywhere. Unsure of a flip, this is the first chance to make an impression on the high 3 star from Jacksonville.

Reuben Jones: This DE from Lake Gibson HS in Lakeland, Fl will be also making his first OV of the season. Jones is currently being wooed by Nebraska,  West Virginia and Duke. The Huskers should be in the lead after this visit.

Deshawn Raymond: The Metarie, LA Cornerback is probably going to LSU, but there's a chance that Charlton Warren can show Raymond the jerseys of Prince, Dennard and SJB and possibly influence the 4 star Cornerback.

Tavin Richardson: Richardson is a mid-3 star from Byrnes HS in Duncan, SC. He named Nebraska in his final 5, and wanted to take all his OV's before he decides on a school. 247 says he has a Kentucky lean, however Warren & Rich Fisher will make their presence known this weekend.

Lamar Jackson: The new white elephant of the class is Jackson, a Dual Threat QB out of Boynton Beach, Florida. If you believed the 247 Crystal Ball, Nebraska should have landed the 6'3" QB, however he committed to Louisville back on Labor Day Weekend. It will be interesting to see how Nebraska puts the press on Jackson. I truly doubt he flips to Nebraska. If there's a flip at all, it'll be to Auburn. However, I've been wrong before.

2015 Official Visitors Committed to Nebraska:

Eric Lee
Khalil Davis
Carlos Davis

2016 Visitors:

Devin White: This 4 star RB out of Louisiana is going to be highly sought by SEC schools, but Nebraska gets him to be on the sidelines this weekend.

Devin Williams: Williams is a Dual Threat QB out of Mansfield Timberview HS in the DFW suburb. While Nebraska hasn't offered yet, the visit should be able to give Tim Beck a chance to work his voodoo. Expect a offer at the end of the weekend if Williams does make it in.

AJ Taylor: The Rockhurst Athlete (RB/WR) will be visiting this weekend as well. A 4.4 40 yard dash will get your attention, so will his highlights.

If there are any commitments from this weekend, we will make sure to tell you about them.

Thanks to our friends at Hudl and 247 sports for their help. We love those folks.

UPDATE at 4:00: Per this Bolt from 247's Mike Schaefer, Devin White won't be making the trip to Lincoln this weekend.
