Nebraska Beating Florida Atlantic 31-7 At Half

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Nebraska is winning handily 31-7 over an outmatched Florida Atlantic team. Both teams scored on their first offensive series, but the Owls have been shut down since, gaining 127 yards in total offense.

Quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr has been pretty good, and although he's had some balls sail high, he is 12-of-24 for a career-high 184 yards and one touchdown. Armstrong has six rushes for 51 yards and a rushing touchdown. Ameer Abdullah has been fantastic, with 16 carries for 178 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Westerkamp leads the receivers with six receptions (no drops) for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Nebraska rolled up 441 yards of total offense in the first half.

Punt returns are still a concern. Randy Gregory is out of the game, as is Florida Atlantic's starting quarterback Jaquez Johnson.
