Corn Flakes: Ohio State's Braxton Miller Injured

New, 44 comments
Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Injuries, injuries, injuries. It's not just Nebraska, obviously, but I can't remember another season starting out with so many injuries across the board.

Now it may be the Big Ten's best player (you could debate that, but you'd likely lose) that's out for the season. I could not find any firm updates on his status this morning, other than the link from Eleven Warriors that a MRI is scheduled for today.

Reading the Eleven Warriors article you get the idea that Miller never really recovered from his previous shoulder injury and subsequent surgery.

How does this change the race for the 2014 Big Ten title?

Take away Taylor Martinez from Nebraska last season and you get the idea. Ohio State's offense will be limited, and Carlos Hyde isn't around to carry them through the end of games anymore. Michigan State will be the front runner in the East Division, unless of course, Connor Cook goes down in the next week or so.
