Ameer Abdullah & Randy Gregory Named First Team USA Today Preseason All-Americans

In their preseason All American team published today, USA Today has listed two Nebraska Cornhuskers on their first team.

Nebraska RB Ameer Abdullah and DT Randy Gregory were named on the first team of 25 total players.

Abdullah, a SR Running Back from Homewood, Alabama, had 1,690 yards rushing on a 6 yards per carry average last year. With his Receiving and Return stats last year, he amassed for over 2000 all-purpose yards in his Junior campaign.

Gregory, a JR Defensive End from Fishers, Indiana, had 66 total tackles last year, with 19 for loss. He led the Big Ten with 10.5 sacks last season.  Gregory has been projected as a potential top five NFL Draft prospect if he wishes to turn pro after this season.
