Adam Taylor suffered broken ankle Saturday, NU official announces. #Huskers

More bad news from Lincoln this morning as Bo Pelini announced that Nebraska Cornhuskers RB Adam Taylor broke his ankle. There is no word yet on how severe the injury is or how soon he might be able to return. This injury had been hinted at over the weekend, but most hoped it was minor.
Before we start to overreact, remember this is our FOURTH STRING RUNNING BACK! Okay, now I feel better. Actually, I don't. After all the other injury and suspension news, this just feels like the football gods are piling it on.
Tim Beck's thoughts on the matter:
"I feel bad for Adam," Beck said. "He had a great spring and was really playing well in the fall. My heart goes out to him, he worked extremely hard, at the same token, it's a really loaded position for us, and I know our guys are behind him all the way and are behind him and want him back as quick as he can, but the show goes on."

As hard as it is for us, it has to be worse for him after spending his first year in Lincoln with a redshirt and waiting so long to get on the field. I was really excited to see what he could do, and I'm sure all of you were too. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Oh, and might I humbly suggest that someone in Lincoln invest in a great deal of bubble wrap and start installing it all around the athletic department and players? NO more bad news-please!
